TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These are the terms and conditions of trading with Dancingwear UK
These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Any contract entered into between Dancingwear UK and its customers is governed by English Law
INTERNET ORDERS: We do not check your address details, we send all orders to the address you enter online, we cannot accept any responsibility if this information has been incorrectly entered, you will receive an email confirming your order, please check this and advise of any errors as this is the order we will fulfill.
We will exchange or refund your money on our STANDARD, STOCK items provided they are returned to us within 14 days, unused and in the original packaging. The cost of returning items is to be paid for by the purchaser. (Tights can not be returned or exchanged if tried on, for hygiene reasons)
The purchaser is responsible for goods being returned until they are received by Dancingwear UK so we suggest proof of postage is obtained as the minimum requirement. If returned goods are lost in transit it is the purchasers responsibility to claim from whatever carrier used, but the purchaser is liable to Dancingwear UK for payment of the goods.
If your order is lost in the post you must agree to assist with any claim from our carriers, this includes you completing your section of any claim forms, failure to do this can result in you being liable to pay for the missing items. Any claims for missing items must be made within 2 months of the date of your order unless you have been advised of any delays
We will only reimburse any postage on defective items.
If however should you simply not like an item and wish to return it or exchange it, postage is not refunded.
NON STOCK ITEMS: You can return for exchange or refund non stock items however there is a 15% handling charge on these items
SPECIAL ORDERS: ITEMS MADE TO ORDER SUCH AS CHARACTER SKIRTS, TWO TONE TUTU'S, NON STOCK COLOUR & ROMANTIC TUTU'S ARE NON REFUNDABLE AND REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES ARE NOT POSSIBLE ON THESE SPECIAL ORDERS.
STARTER PACK: Starter packs are sold as one item. Single items from the pack can be returned for size exchange. A full refund will be issued if the full pack is returned. If part of the pack is returned a refund of £4.00 will be given per item
SPECIAL ORDERS: Special order items include Character skirts, Chiffon practice skirts, Two tone tutus and non stock colour standard tutus. These products are made to order so can not be despatched immediately. Character skirts and Chiffon skirts usually take 7 - 10 days, and two tone tutu's 10 - 21 days.
Items required sooner than the above make up times may be possible if discussed at the time of ordering.
Orders are sent out by Royal Mail 1st class post at a cost of £2.95 per order. We reserve the right to charge postage for sending out replacement items.
If there are any different shipping costs, we would advise you of this before processing your payment.
EXCHANGES: £1 is required with the item to be exchanged to cover return postage,
If goods are returned for exchange without the correct amount to cover return postage we will debit the required amount plus 50p towards the card handling fee.
OVERSEAS ORDERS: Postage is charged on all overseas orders, this is calculated on the weight of the goods and location. No postage is refunded on returned overseas order. For exchanges on overseas orders postage is charged for sending out replacement items regardless of the reason.
Orders to Ireland and Europe usually take 4-5 days and to the rest of the world 7 days. PLEASE NOTE although parcels usually arrive within this time delivery could take up to 2 weeks due to the postal services.
Sizing: We cannot guarantee that the sizes quoted will fit as required, we will endeavour to supply the correct size based on the information provided, however we will not be held responsible for return postage costs if the garments do not fit.
SNEAKERS: Different makes come out different sizes. We put our own size recommendations on sneakers due to the number of different styles we stock, see below:
Capezio Web Sneakers: 2.5 - 3 sizes larger (American make)
Capezio Rock-it, Groove, TS-1, Dansneaker & High top: 3 - 3.5 sizes larger
We will not be held responsible for return postage costs if the garments do not fit.
95% of all sneakers fit if our sizing is followed.
