These are the terms and conditions of trading with Dancingwear UK
These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Any contract entered into between DancingwearUK and its customers is governed by English Law
INTERNET ORDERS: We do not check your address details, we send all orders to the address you enter online, we cannot accept any responsibility if this information has been incorrectly entered, you will receive an email confirming your order, please check this and advise of any errors as this is the order we will fulfil.
Orders are sent out by Royal Mail post at a cost of £1.50 for orders up to £10 and £2.95 for orders over £10. We reserve the right to charge postage for sending out replacement items.
Character skirts usually take about 3 days to send out.
OVERSEAS ORDERS: Postage is charged on all overseas orders; this is calculated on the value of the goods and location. No postage is refunded on returned overseas order. For exchanges on overseas orders postage is charged for sending out replacement items regardless of the reason.
Sizing: We cannot guarantee that the sizes quoted will fit as required, we will endeavour to supply the correct size based on the information provided, however we will not be held responsible for return postage costs if the garments do not fit.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
We will exchange or refund your money on returned items provided they are returned to us within 14 days, unused and in the original packaging. The cost of returning items is to be paid for by the purchaser. (Tights can not be returned or exchanged if tried on, for hygiene reasons) £1 is required with the item to be exchanged to cover return postage. If goods are returned for exchange without the correct amount to cover return postage we will debit the required amount plus 50p towards the card handling fee. We suggest you get proof of posting if you send anything back to us, it is free from your Post Office and covers you if your return is lost in the post. You are responsible for the goods until they arrive back with us.
The purchaser is responsible for goods being returned until they are received by Dancingwear UK so we suggest proof of postage is obtained as the minimum requirement which is free from the post office. If returned goods are lost in transit it is the purchasers responsibility to claim from whatever carrier used, but the purchaser is liable to Dancingwear UK for payment of the goods.
Made to order or special order items will incur a 15% handling charge if returned
STARTER PACKS: Starter packs can be returned for a full refund like all other stock items, however if you return for a refund part of the pack ie just the ballet shoes then we will refund you as follows: Ballet shoes £5.50, Leotard £6.00, Tights £4.00
LOST IN THE POST: If your order does not arrive we will consider it as lost after 14 working days, this is in accordance with Royal Mail Policy. We will then be able to refund you after this time but you must agree to assist with any claim from our carriers, this includes you completing your section of any claim forms, failure to do this can result in you being liable to pay for the missing items. Any claims for missing items must be made within 1 month of the date of your order unless you have been advised of any delays
We will only reimburse any postage on defective items.
If however should you simply not like an item and wish to return it or exchange it, postage is not refunded.
NON STOCK ITEMS: You can return for exchange or refund non stock items however there is a 15% handling charge on these items
SPECIAL ORDERS: ITEMS MADE TO ORDER ARE NON REFUNDABLE AND REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES ARE NOT POSSIBLE
ALL GOODS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF DANCINGWEARUK UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.
